YAMADA Consulting Group Scam

I received and email from "Yamada Consulting Group" for a Skype interview. The interview was run by the head of HR David Llamas. The person on skype uses his name company logo and info to pretend as though they are this man. The reason for the interview being conducted over skype was due to covid 19 and the reason of interviewees sometimes having poor video quality, loud noises etc.
After my interview David told me he would meet with the rest of HR to determine if they would hire me.
About an hour later I was told I was hired and they would be sending me a check so I could buy all my materials I needed to do the job including a new laptop and all the subscriptions to the programs for work. I received a check for $5900 and deposited it into my bank account. After the funds cleared I was instructed to make multiple payments to third party vendors using Google Pay. It was at this point that I knew this wasn't real. Unfortunately these people are extremely convincing. The sent me new hire paperwork and they're using the Head of HR and all his information to convince you that he is the one hiring you. Please just be sure if you are being hired by a company, all the email addresses and correspondence should be from addresses from that company not third party contacts.

I was reached out to via Gmail, and told that an interview was scheduled for me immediately. The company contacted me over Skype, and only used text messaging, never calling. They told me that they'd be sending me a check to buy office equipment for my home. They hired me on the spot. I did not cash the check as this is a common scam that companies use, they will have you cash the check, buy a bunch of supplies, then cancel the check and leave you with the bill. This job offer is completely suspicious and upon calling the associated number, no one picked up, and there was no voicemail. The company gathered my personal identifying information right off the bat, before I was "hired". Yamada Consulting Group is a scam.
