I was having trouble signing into my yahoo account. I thought I must have forgotten my pass code so I changed it. Tried to sign in again with my new pass code and it wouldn't take it either. I went through the process again. Same result! I looked all through my Yahoo app for a customer service number and couldn't find one. I used their chat. The chat said SURE I'll be glad to help! That'll be $7.95! I was like what?? Yahoo has Yahoo plus now. I figured out the issues I'm having are because it's not I forgot my passcode, Yahoo is trying to get me to pay a monthly premium now!! Well, I'M NOT!! I went online to see if I could find a 800 number to call them. THE 1st NUMBER that popped up was this clowns! I was on the phone with him for about 40 minutes. This so called Cust Ser Rep had me go to the app store on my phone and down load this app called 'help desk' and I did it. Now he has complete control over my phone. I thought it was just over my Yahoo account. No it wasn't! I mean so far, I thought this was all legit! He told me he saw I had 12 different emails that hacked my yahoo account. I was shocked! Then he said so now, let's go to your cash app! I asked for what? He said I'm helping you secure it so no one can hack into it and steal your money! For a split second I believed him UNTIL...the "codes" he claimed he was giving me was NOT charging me anything! It was just securing my account. He asked me to type in 91.91 then when it went to the next screen he said I have one more code for you to enter then you'll be set and your cash app will be secure. He gave me $walker*** but it wouldn't go through thank goodness! He asked me to hold on while he generated another code. While I was on hold, I happened to glance down and noticed the people I had sent money to before, had user names JUST LIKE THAT ONE!! IT HIT ME RIGHT THEN!! I was being scammed!! I could NOT believe it!! I caught it!! I sent the money back to myself so I only lost $1.61 but, I shouldn't have lost a dern dime!! I turned this guy into the FEDS to! That's why I feel it's extremely important for us to ban together and report these creeps! This is the only way to stop them!!
