When I called they wanted me to open my laptop so they could “refund” the $397.00. I got suspicious immediately and questioned WHY they needed me on my computer. He (strong foreign accent) kept insisting that he could only refund the $397.00 from my computer. (I may have been born at night but I wasn’t born LAST night! BTW, I am 77 years old!) I said no I wouldn’t open my computer as I forgot my password. He seemed to know I had been on my laptop recently (I was. On November 18th) and kept insisting I open my laptop. I was finally fed up with his bull[censored] and told him I was going to report him to Better Business Bureau. The phone went dead. He didn’t hang up, but didn’t answer me when I shouted “Hello… Hello… Hello” He disconnected after 2-3 minutes.
