The call that came to my home phone said it was from Xcel Eneregy on the caller id. A man with a foreign accent, maybe from India started talking to me. Unable to understand what he was saying I had him repeat it. He told me that Medicare was having trouble verifying problems with my back and knees for them to approve braces. He wanted me to verify my Medicare number to him over the phone. I told I told him I would not give him that information then he hung up. I called the ScamPulse.com to report it.

We received a call from someone named Tony Kimbus who said we had 45 min to pay our energy bill or it would be disconnected. We are never late on our bill so I called the ScamPulse.com who confirmed it was a scam. The man said to call them back and speak to Michael at extension #331.
