Back on June 27, 2021, I reached out to a seller through hotmusclecars.com regarding a 1975 Chevrolet Caprice Convertible. The next day, an individual by the name Lauren Raff reached out to me, and stated that her husband died, and this car was her husbands baby, and that she was ill, but the car was with a shipping company by the name of WY Gateship LLC. Both, my man friend, and I were interested in this vehicle at this price. So Lauren emailed me the contract between herself, and the shipping company. The go to person at the shipping company was David Finley. So my man friend contacted the shipping company, and spoke to someone with a foreign accent, and when my man friend mentioned the bank, the guy got upset. So we called back 20 minutes later, lo, and behold, the phone was no longer in service. A bunch of red flags starting popping up. In my first reply back to Lauren, I was like, if you are the seller, why do I see this car that you are selling on different other websites, in different states, with different prices? Those questions were never answered. That was a red flag, the mentioning of the bank was one, and the disconnected number after we just got off the phone with someone. Side note....I do have more documents, but I wasn't able to upload everything.
