I received a text the other day about a data entry job I had applied for on Indeed. I checked Indeed to make sure and I did, so I thought nothing of it at the time. I was then led through a briefing of the job on the instant messaging area on zoom. He said he was impressed with my answers and I was soon offered the job. He said the company would send me a check to pay for the equipment I need and asked for my address. I gave it to him at the time because I was just excited to start making $32 an hour. But as soon as I read the other scams that panned out like this encounter, I immediately blocked and deleted their phone number as well as on zoom.
