First they called my dad saying I had 2 hours to contact them before the filed papers against me so I called them, and they said I owed them 1000 dollars for am old us. Cellular bill from 10 years ago. I told them I wanted to contest it. They said that I couldn't, because Isigned an arbitration contract. So I did some research, and they lied because in arbitration I have a right to a hearing. Also they said they would send me proof that I owed them this money well they sent me a blank email. I called U.S cellular , and they can't find any record of this account they even tried using my ss# to look it up. The guy from the u.s cellular fraud department told me not to pay them anything else unless they can prove I owe them via the last bill with the original account number or somthing to that affect. I payed them 2 $40 payments, now I cancelled all my cards and will not pay them another time until they can prove I owe them also their address is a p.o. box in a postal express in Murrieta ca . When i Google seaech them there is a ton of ppl saying they are scammers + they've changed there number several times in the last few years i also reported them to every state states attorney, and the ftc. I dont mind paying my debts, but this is definately fishy plus there is a federal statute of limitations on debt collection and this is way older than that
