In October 2021 I received an invoice on an account closed 3 years earlier. When I called WOW I was told it was a system error, and that they were actually sending me a refund and I would be contacted in 5 days. That didn’t happen so I called back on Nov. 23,2021 and was assured a refund of “$171.65 was being processed. Now it’s February, still no refund. Their call agents won’t escalate this to a supervisor, though they said I would be called back by one. This is the behavior of a fraudulent company or scammer.
