Had the same experience as others. Stopped to ask for verification after they asked my bank name. They said they couldn't send me an email from their corporate domain to verify who they were and I googled them and found this thread. Thanks for being here, you guys saved me some time.

I had the same experience. I saw this page on this web site and played along.
They off $46 per hour, $19 for training
How do you want to be paid, Then ask for your bank name.

No interview ever asks for your bank's name. This is a scam.
Sending an email to the real Wovenware Corporation

I was contacted this morning by Stephen Anderson, he said they saw my resume on Ziprecruiter and to contact a Miller Dominique via Hangouts and was informed that the company i would be working for is Wovenware. I did the interview and was told they would be sending a check to pay for materials to work from home. If/when that check is sent I'll be turning it into my bank.

I was told that I was being contacted by ZipRecruiter. I was asked to set up an interview on google hangouts. I then was told that the interview would be via instant message. I was asked a few questions and hired after 10 mins. They offered $46/hour. Told me they would send me a MacBook Pro and a check to pay for a mini office. They asked for my bank and then asked if I had USAA. Confirmed I was a veteran. At the end of their presentation I asked several questions and the grammar was terrible. The questions were answered incomplete and vaguely. I then began to research Wovenware scams and found valid articles to prove my intuition. I did not provide any financial or personal information. I then told them I no longer wanted to be considered and not to contact me again.

I was contacted for a supply Logistics management job, however I do not currently have that type of training and am working on acquiring it. So it was weird that this "HR Manager" named Miller Dominique would offer me a job without asking any of my experience in that field. He offered a check to buy the things I would need for a home office and named off all the softwares that I know for a fact aren't used in data entry by a software company. It didn't add up plus the $46 an hour salary? Reported it and blocked this individual. Will be contacting company next to let them know this is happening.

I received an email stating that I was on the short list for employment through ZipRecruiter. The name that the scammer used on his email was Tony Scott. I was given a code to use as identification for an interview via Google Hangout. I was asked a series of very generic questions. After a 5-7 minute pause I was told that I was hired. Wovenware is an actual company out of San Juan P.R. The scammers initially sent a check totaling $3100.00 for deposit via mobile app with my bank. My bank kept a hold on half the funds for five days. They then sent another check for $1700.00 to get funds from that check, my bank held all of those funds to, their daily limit was $10,000 daily. The banks that the supposed cashier's check were drawn on were Sterling National Bank in Montebello NY(actually a real bank) and JP Morgan Chase Bank in Wilmington DE. These funds were supposedly to be used for setting up my office for working from home. They will ask for you to send money to their vendor(Tracey Thomas) through Zelle, they will ask do you CashApp as well. This is definitely a scam.

First emailed from an hr rep about actual job offer pending an interview with another individual, which was requested it be done via google hangout chats. This was done and interview was only 14 questions and none where about my skills, education, training etc. i was offered employment and that i needed to purchase software and the company was sending me a check to be used for purchasing products. I was doing online research as i was being‘interviewed’ and couldn’t find the job posting on the actual company’s website. I received the copy of the check and was told to deposit via my bank app but I didn’t. I contacted the company in PR, my bank and the bank on the check. Company verified they don’t interview this way and they have no employees with these names and no job posting of administrative or data entry. The bank the check was drawn from verified that the account number on the check is not a cashiers check account.
