I received a text from Worldlife Premium Springs Water company asking if I would allow a small decal to be placed on my car as an advertisement whereupon they would pay me $450 per week for six months. The initial message was supposedly from someone named Lucinda Birdwell who called herself the Instruction Supervisor for the company. I agreed to this proposition, and was informed a check for the first week would be sent. The check was in the amount of $1950 drawn off of a bank in Florida. A text message arrived immediately instructing me to deposit the check and send $1500 to a checking account for Robert Ferrell at Fairwind credit union in Florida which would pay for the person who were to install the decal and a mileage meter on my car. Many many text messages continued over the next week instructing me to rush the payment of the $1500 and to get a Verizon Sims card for my phone enabling them to send me a payment code used to have money sent to me each week. Five days after depositing the check and sending the $1500 for the installer, my bank informed me that the check was returned as "fictitious". This information was sent to the person who had been texting me, and I was told the problem was that they had recently changed accounts but the problem would be resolved. The person promised a second check would be sent, but naturally I never received it. The Verizon store personnel told me the reason this company wanted me to have the Verizon SIMs card enabling them to send a code was a scam. I informed the person from the company who was texting me about setting up the decal installers of Verizon's response to which he said "that is bull[censored]".

Naturally, no decal installer has arrived. I checked the ScamPulse.com site for scams and found a similar one on the same company a year ago, and them I filed a scam complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
