Email received from professor at my university talking about a job opportunity paying $650 weekly for 1 hour 2/3 days a week. The professor email was likely hacked and a scam was sent from it. Link attached to apply leads to a google form with name Dickens Tyrone claiming to represent World Vision International, with clear spelling and grammar errors though. Job description is entirely different from email and says tasks include " Perform official assignment to detail/ instruction, Running personal errands (receiving and making payment), Communicate with customers over the phone, via email, and/or online chat, Work independently without much supervision (inspecting items paid for at Post office near to you). Then form asks for personal information followed by statement saying to let "Dickens" know you submitted it by sending an email to [email protected]. A spoof of WIV's actual email.
