I have been searching for a new dachshund puppy. I googles for dachshund puppies near me. I looked at many many sites for the last month or so. I ran across World Class Dachshunds and they had the perfect color, age, sex, puppy I wanted, and had one that my best friend wanted. So we started the process of contacting them, answering questions about my household, other pets, etc. There were many emails back and forth. They said they ship on Monday and Fridays, I said I would like to come pick them up since I live in Fort Worth and they were in Austin. They said, even better, we get to meet you in person. The deposit to hold the two puppies would be $600 until pick up and then the final payment of $500 upon getting them. They told me to pay through paypal but use friends and family instead of goods and services because there are fees involved if for goods and services. I told them that I would include the fee in my payment so I would be protected through the paypal purchase protection. They said they have had problems in the past with the goods and services payment and that if I want to find another breeder I can. And then following up with an email saying they were Christian and wouldn't risk hurting their reputation for a little money. I reluctantly made the payment. Only had one more communication after several communications from myself and they said they were busy because it was Monday shipping day. I never heard back from them after than and the following day I went to the website and it doesn't exist any longer. Paypal wasn't able to assist in stopping the payment since it was made to friends and family, I ordered a stop payment through my bank and awaiting the outcome

Attempted to purchase a puppy from their website on 3/22/20. After discussing via email a female 10 week old puppy, they said the price was $600 plus $150 air shipping from Austin, Texas. They requested Zelle payment, but do not have a Zelle account and asked if they would accept Paypal. They said they would. I send them a paypal payment of $750 through Paypal goods and services. They then requested that I send them the payment through Paypal friends and family because of the fees and because they wouldn't get their money for a few days the other way.

I refused to do that because I knew I would not be covered if something were to go wrong. I then started to get suspicious when my mom checked out their twitter page and there was a link to another scammer page Sunshine dachshunds. So I went to Paypal and tried to cancel my payment and it said it was already completed and I couldn't cancel it. I contacted them, told them I wanted to cancel my purchase and they kept making excuses on why they couldn't refund my money, didn't respond for hours, or kept asking for screenshots of my payment to verify it was me.

I disputed to through paypal online and they denied my dispute saying it was a legitimate purchase. I have tried calling Paypal with no luck. My bank is trying to help me, but it will take some time. Please beware of these people. Their website looked very legitimate, it is not!
