Offered employment of distribution representative, receiving packages and processing them. I put my social in part of the employment process before realizing it could be a scam

They look like they have a real website. They ask you if you will be a shipping partner where you get packages inspect them turn around and re-ship them to an address that they supplied the shipping label for.. they would just email me the label and I would print it out and take it to UPS or FedEx. They said the first 30 days was your probation. After 30 days you would get your first paycheck I was supposed to be paid on July 15 and nothing ever came. Nobody is answering emails. Nobody is answering phone calls and nobody is answering messages through the system that I am logged into with them. Although I only shipped four packages for them in the first 30 days, I still should’ve gotten paid. The lady I reported to her name was Maria Calvo!! The page where I reported the packages everything looks legit. Other numbers that are associated with this business are!

The company reached out regarding a Shipping Agent position paying $3,500 monthly. The job involves receiving packages and opening, inspecting and shipping them back out using prepaid shipping labels provided by the company. The entire process is conducted through an online message board which appears to be legitimate.

I was told I would be a Shipping Agent;

My Supervisor announced herself as:

Maria Pereira,

Operations manager,

Epack Systems LLC.

I was told packages would come to my address, and I would take a picture of the original label, then remove all labels from the box, and take a 2nd picture of the "Clean" box. Then open the box to take a 3rd picture of the product and then repack. UPLOAD the pics to a web page I log in to. Then they (Epack Systems) upload a link to my LIST page (I logged into with a User name & PW) with a new shipping label - I print it, attach to the package and drop it off at the shipper (UPS, FedEx, or USPO). Operation is from 10 am to 6 pm M-F, of which I get $3,500.00 a month. I gave my routing # and Bank account# for a direct deposit paycheck. And filled out a W-4 and an I-9 form. I spent money on supplies: A computer, laser printer, tape gun, tape, a folding table to use in the house, packing supplies (bubble wrap), and other minor office supplies. These Scammers must be stopped! They are stealing the products you reship for them. You are part of the crime by reshipping stolen products.

I was given a supervisor to work with, her name: MARIA PEREIRA. During my 3rd week of work, all communication stopped. I called and left messages, and I sent emails, and sent multiple messages on their Employee Message Board. NO response, nothing.

They offered me a job for $20/hr as a "Distribution Representative"

I didn't know what that meant so I asked for more information. They sent all their responses in very formal but poor english. Their FAQ mentioned that the packages "dont take up too much space" and I realized they wanted to send packages to my house, so I never filled out any employment paperwork.

Filled out an application to work remotely, for Swift Fulfillment.

I would receive packages that needed reshipment. I would make $3,500.00 per month AFTER my probation period, of one month.

I would be reimbursed for gas, internet service and shipping materials up to $300.00 per month.

I needed to fill out four forms. W-2 and ID (driver's license or passport photo). Was allowed to "tape over the personal info." for the duration of the probationary period.

I looked up their company info on this site. Seemed bogus. So, I didn't follow through.
