A Michelle from Workforce services said that she was calling in regards to my baby son's medicaid account. She needed his SSN in order to see if he is eligible for another term of coverage. He has been off of Medicaid for over a year now. She explained that he should have been covered still because there has been a covid relief act that has extended medicaid plans until further notice. She needed to get his SSN to see if he is eligible still. I gave it to her in the end, but as soon as I hung up, I had a gut feeling that I just got scammed. It just doesn't make sense thinking back to it.
