They are real. I’ve adopted 2 dogs from them. The woman in charge of woof wag is Laura. She personally houses the dogs in her home. She has at least 4 dogs at anytime on top of her own fur babies. The process is in place for a reason. These dogs have already had a hard life and they aren’t just handed over to someone simply because they fill out an application. The application is filled out on one of the major adoption websites, then sent to Laura for review. She then calls and interviews the applicant and sets up a meeting with the applicant and puppy. The adoption fee is not required or collected UNTIL the day you pick up your dog...so I’m not sure why someone would call it a “scam”.
10 hours is a long way to travel for an adoption. Maybe search closer to home? I felt the urge to respond because with out agencies like woof wag and people like Laura, these animals would be euthanized. I felt compelled to respond to the previous review/report and clarify that this agency is NOT A SCAM. Just be patient and follow the process.

I inquired about a rescue dog I saw on RescueMe.org in Tennessee through Woof Wag Rescue. I filled out an application and was told it would take up to 24 hours to see if I was approved. I have asked for more pictures of the dog and never received any. Asked for a name and phone number to talk to a live person and all I was told was her name was Marsha. She told me on a Wednesday that the dog would be ready to go Friday afternoon. When I inquired about my application being approved Thursday, I was told not yet. I would have a 10 hour drive to get the dog and I wasn’t getting answers. I told her I would report her because nothing made since. There was no reason I couldn’t get a number where the dog was at or even talk to the lady i was emailing. Today is Friday, end of day and have not heard anything from them. I do not believe they are real.
