Fortunately, I did not lose any money because I did my research; finding that this individual was not legitimate. They refused to provide a phone number so we could talk, would not do a video chat so I could see the puppy, insisted on email only. The price for the puppy was very low, however, they wanted a large deposit through Venmo. They would not use PayPal and would not accept that I offered cash when I picked up the puppy. They claimed AKC registration, but I could not find them listed as a breeder on the AKC website.
