I have been searching for a job on Zip Recruiter. I received a text from Brian Whitmore. I took screenshots of everything. He stated he was with HR/Recruiting for the above named company and that a Mr. Vishal Joshi (in HR, hiring manager) would like to meet with me via zoom. I met with Joshi via zoom through a text conversation. I seemed like a normal scripted interview. They did not ask for any financial data or my SSN. However, they did ask for my phone number, name, e-mail and address. They did offer me a CustomerService Representative position at $30 per hour paid via direct deposit (again, my account details were not shared yet) and $15 per hour for training. My instincts were telling me something was wrong as soon as I sent me ID. I immediately e-mailed and facebook messenged the company in Ireland. I was not able to call due to it being very late at night in Ireland at the time. They messaged me back this morning and told me that this was a scam and instructed me to report to the US Government and they would do the same for Ireland. I am now paranoid about my safety.

A text from a Brian Whitmore contacted me about a Data Entry Clerk position for Woodgate Aviation LTD out of Belfast,Ireland. Was asked to participate via a Skype interview with a Vishal Joshi. Received information such as my name, phone number, and address. I stopped responding after looking on this website to find an exact match of the situation I’m experiencing word for word.
