They started by sending a letter stating I had received a TOP DOC recognition and wanted to promote me with their “women in medicine” campaign. A few days later I received a phone call stating that I had been selected and they gave me a couple different options about programs they had. The cost was around $800-1000 for them. I guess I was being naïve and thought I really won an award I proceeded with the payment to receive a plaque with my name on it stating I am a top doc for 2022. After seeing the plaque I looked Into it and found that there had been quite a few people claiming to have had the same thing happen to them!
