Found job on ZIP Recruiter was instructed to add AndyFreeman for a work at home job until the new office opened in my town, ***CT on March 1st when would transfer to the office.
"I am Mr. Andy Freeman One of the online hiring manager of Wockhardt Private Healthcare Ltd. I would be the one to brief you more about the position and the company."
I did a ton of research on this company First Flag is that it was based in INDIA, I began by CALLING THE OFFICE AND SPEAKING TO THE WOMAN WHO WORKED THERE FOR 9 years. She said she didnt know of any job openings which was my first warning, then I checked ScamPulse.com and there are word for word similarities of a scam just like this.
Here are the word for word simiarities i have found with other scams but different business names, pay, location on BBB:
"This is an online work from home job, The working hours are flexible and you can chose to work from anywhere of your choice and once the office close to you is available you will be assign to work over there in the office ,The pay is $35 per hour during full working hours and the training is $20 per hour and will be getting your payment weekly via check or direct deposit working 30 to 40 hours weekly, If you are employed you are going to be working as a full employee and not an independent contractor.Benefits: Health, Dental, Life and AD&D Insurance, Employee Wellness and 401k plans.Paid Time Off and Holidays with Generous Company Discounts.
We are currently working on the location in *** Ct .
which will be available on the 1st of March. 2017 Therefore, you will be working from home until the office is available and you will be assigned to work over there if hired."
"I need you to email with the following: Your full name, current Home address and apartment number, Phone numbers and e-mail address via email to the company HR email ([email protected] )to enable my superior's enlist them into the Company's Register for proper documentation. Email that and notify me once done so we can proceed okay."
"The funds for the softwares and office equipment will be provided for you by the company via check ...Make sure you use them as instructed for the software and i will refer you to the vendor you are to purchase them from okay. As soon as the check its been issued out to you i will notify you and provide you with the tracking number so you can keep track and know when it will get to you okay"
"This Job offers Flexible hours but you are to report online to me by 8am daily Monday to Friday for duties, task, and assignment...Ok"
Apparently they ask you to deposit the check and take a picture of the deposit slip and sent it to them which of course has your BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER ON IT.
I have not gone throiugh the process and I did not give them ANY OF MY INFORMATION.
I called the woman at WOCKHARDT and asked even more questions and Verified that they are NOT opening a location in CT and they do not HIRE work at home. I am currently waiting for a response to the voicemail I left for the Legit Company's HR Department so they can warn others,
SO IN THE END THIS COMPANY IS REAL - WOCKHARDT- but the job posting is NOT. DO not ever give people your bank account information.
