Scammer calls to notify winner of $3.5 million and a 2020 automobile. Winner is to get a $500 gift card to pay for shipping fees when the check is hand delivered to their home address in a few hours. Emailed a 7 page document with details of the prizes to "support" the claim that the winnings are not a scam. Caller already has your PII -- full name, address, tel #, email address.

We are plagued by calls from Winners International Sweepstakes. The man says we've won $18 million and a Mercedez Benz. He told me to call 914-353-0715. He wanted our email. I said I was calling my lawyer, he asked for my lawyer's names and number, he said he would call him to tell him it's not a scam. He said he was in NY, but their phone number traces back to Kingston, Jamaica. He said I would not have to pay any money, that's what scammers do.
