I received an e-mail on 2/14/21 from from [email protected], subject line Vaccine Opinion Panel. At the top of the message, it stated "Vaccine Survey Registration Confirmation." Earlier that week, I had made an appointment to get my Covid-19 vaccine, so I completed the survey which asked reasonable questions about the vaccine. After I completed the survey, I was offered to choose between several gifts and all I had to do was pay the postage. I ordered a pair of wireless earbuds and entered my credit card info to pay $6.84 for the postage & handling. When I hit pay, a page came up asking me if I wanted to purchase a Smart Bracelet for $26 plus postage & handling. I selected No and then continue and it said thanks for your two payments of $6.84 and $29.84. I never authorized the second charge yet it charged me anyway. I immediately responded to the e-mail address stating that I did not want the Smart bracelet or authorize payment and told them, to not send me the bracelet and refund my money. They did not respond, sent me both items and charged me for both. I said I would report them if they didn't refund my money. Now I have to contest the charge with my bank.
