I have received numerous calls to my home land line telephone, from "Windows Refund Service" or "Computer Service Refund", saying that I had overpaid $200.00 and am eligible for a refund. I am asked for my direct deposit information so that the refund can be sent. The callers have been both male and female, with strong accents that sound Mid-Eastern or Indian to me, though I can't be sure. I have not complied and began hanging up after the first introduction. I don't have Caller ID so cannot report the phone number from which the calls come.
