Received an email to “verify”my subscription for Windows Defender at cost of $399. I did not purchase this. Gave a number to call to talk to customer service about this bogus purchase and the person had no defense but I’m sure only wanted more info, which I knew NOT to give. I knew before I called it was a scan and told them so when I spoke to them. Informed him I would be notifying BBB. The phone number I was given was 855-430-4663. I could not verify the fake email address they used but had to include one to send this-so the email address in that box is MINE. Tried to return their email using the address they gave in order to get theirs back but was unsuccessful.
