In early December a woman called and asked me to verify the 4 digits of my social. I refused and asked who she was and what this was regarding. She kept saying it was a personal matter and they would need to verify my identity before moving forward. I asked her at least 4 times before she said she was with Windham professionals but still would not tell me what it was about. Then she hung up on me. I googled Windham and found out they are a collections agency for student loans. I'm am currently not in default with any of my student loans or other accounts. Then yesterday I get a call from 336-663-0020. It was a man this time but still wanted me to confirm the last 4 of my social. I said you have the wrong number and hung up. They then proceed to call my parents house looking for me. every time I call the number back it's a different recording.
