I was sent the following email. I am unable to find any funds taken from me but I know it is a scam.

We’ll charge you for the next subscription period three days before your renewal date. You must cancel before then to avoid charges. Cancel any time Call our support section

I do not have a PC, and do not use win-def (windows defender)
and they do not have my bank account...

Received an email from INVOICE (at email address listed above).

subject line: renewal conformation--I just realized "confirmation" is spelled wrong

Email said "Dear user", although it was sent to my personal email.

The email informed that Windef has been auto renewed and invoice will be sent.

Amount deducted is $299.99.

To discontinue services, phone customer support.

I asked customer support what Windef is. They said it is for windows security. I said I don't have windows, they said it works on a Mac too.

Customer support said they needed my email to verify that I had an account (I unfortunately gave it to them). Then they said they needed to access my computer so I could fill out a form so they could refund $299.99. This was their policy because of covid-19. I said good-bye.
