Wilson's Pool Design owned by Doug Wilson will take your money for a pool and then show up occasionally to do a little bit of work. He always tells you he'll be there tomorrow but never shows up. This will go on for months or even years, in some cases, stringing the homeowner along with enough work to get another draw on the contract. Much of the work performed is substandard for instance installing pool plumbing and never testing it for leaks before it's covered up. Many homeowners have partially completed pools all the way back to 2019 or earlier. This scam has been going on for years and many people have lost thousands of dollars. Some of the victims have sued in court for their money back but not all of them were successful with refunds from Wilson's Pool Design. The photo is 7 Months' worth of work always with the promise of "I'll be there tomorrow". Buyer Beware!

Doug Wilson came to our home to go over the details of getting a new pool. He told us we could save money by just redoing our existing pool. We came to an agreement that that demo would start in November and the completion of the pool would follow. A contract was signed and 20% was given to start. Demo of the old deck and preparation for the new pool were to be completed at the same time in November. The demo started before Thanksgiving but no prep was done. We did not see them again until March when they came to remove the steps. Again no prep as done. I unfortunately gave Doug 40% more for equipment and pavers to be ordered. Neither of which we have to this day. After that they showed up, unannounced, a couple times and worked for an hour or two at most. I made numerous phone calls asking when they will be back and most of my calls or text were responded by "I will call you back' but he never called back. After 6-7 months on a job that should have taken 3-4 months I asked them to stop all work and asked what would it take to just fill in the pool. I was told by Doug that he would let me know that weekend. He did not respond and as usual I kept getting put off. After a few weeks of being ignored, I decided to give him a 10 days notice to respond to my request or I would take action. It has been over a month with no contact. He refuses to return my calls and claims his email is not working.
