I contacted Amber Wilson who claimed to work at Wilson Dog Rescue in Cushing, Oklahoma. I contacted Amber Wilson through Facebook for a pitbull puppy on June 14. I had a response back on June 15. We send messages back and fort and I received pictures of an older pitbull, but I mentioned I wanted to adopt a puppy. I received pictures of a puppy and fell in love right away. I was told it was a two month old, AKC registered female puppy. They said that they would ship her to our door through a supervised flight. Name of the person supervising our puppy was Shonnamarie Partlow, DBA name was Titanium Bred Professionals, from Oklahoma City- this information through, United States Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service. Adoption fee of $300, Certificate of Adoption $50, transfer of ownership certificate $75, supervised pet flight cost $160, total of $585. Then I was told that once they received the payment, they would process paper work, book the supervised pet flight, and the airline would contact me with a ticket number. After I told them we where ready to adopt they asked for our full names, home address, contact numbers, and name to closest airport. They answered every question I had and assured me every detail I needed. I asked if we could pay through paypal and they agreed. They told us to pay through family and friends. When we did the transaction we thought we did trough goods and services so in case anything went wrong we could get our money back. PayPal said the payment would not go through until June 22. We where told God bless you and a very nice prayer for me and my family. We sent a picture for confirmation of the payment. The next day I was told they were on the way to the airport to send our puppy home. Then there was an issue to transport the puppy, they needed $225 to purchase a puppy cage. I said no, we will come and pick her up in person. We live in Houston, TX, we were driving to pick her up in Cushing, Oklahoma. I asked for their address and they gave it to me. The address given to us was 414 N Elm Creek Rd. Cushing, OK 74023. On June 18, I told Amber we would drive to OK on the following morning to pick up our puppy and we were told they couldn't wait to meet us. On June 19th I told her we where on our way, after a couple hours she said "what about the pandemic issues". Then I had a couple of hours of back and forth conversations while we where on our way from Houston TX to Cushing, Oklahoma. She kept on telling me to go back home, that because of the virus it was too risky for us to be traveling. That I could get charged for taking a puppy from state to state. She kept on asking for money for a puppy cage, and the conversation got too weird for us. I looked up Amber Wilson online and Wilson Dog Rescue, and came across a phone number. I called the number and asked if an Amber Wilson worked there. An Amber Wilson answered. I told her that I had paid to adopt a puppy and we were on our way from Houston to pick her up. Amber Wilson had no idea what I was talking about. I was told by the fake Amber Wilson that she was deaf and could not speak with me on the phone. I realized we had been scammed. The real Amber told me this was not the first time this happened. The fake Amber Wilson contacted me through cell phone 918-352-6714. The real Amber Wilson ************.
