I hope my experience can help others.

My partner is an Internet Crime Specialist with our provincial police, so I'm aware of what to look like in terms of a scam.

I found this website wilsonscutebeaglefarm.com where they listed themselves as members of the American Kennel Club. I found a pup on their website that we adored so I looked more into them. I saw that they were located in Colorado, so my partner and I decided we could make a trip to pick up the puppy (we are in Canada).
I reached out to the the owner who was sketchy off the hop.

First he was a male, then his next email he was a woman with cancer who couldn't care for the pups anymore and had to re-home. Since when do breeders re-home?

Anyway, I called the American Kennel Club and they told me they were in fact not a member and were flagged as scammers.

They also changed their address in emails to me and magically, they were no longer in Colorado, but in Canada - and coincidently enough, in the same province as me! (lol).
They picked a rural town called Hornepayne, ON, which is very remote. Oddly enough, I'm familiar with that area well.
So, now that they're suddenly Canadian, their claim to be a member of the AKC is even more absurd.

I called few Animal Shipping Services for Northern Ontario and was told they 100% do not ship from Hornepayne (after she assured me they did, with a money back guarantee).

Anyway, I called them out, and they disappeared from radar.
My partner did a scan on where the email came from and it didn't come from either Hornepayne or Colorado ... so be very wary on these scammers.

Attached is the email filled with contradicting claims and false information:

Hi, The reason I'm looking for a new home for the puppies is that I was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer, and I can no longer take care of them because I have to undergo surgery for 14 months, I will not have time to love and care for them.

I'm currently in Hornepayne, ON. However, I can send the puppy to you from here without any problems.

All you will need to pay for is for his transportation and change of ownership fee which will cost you $750 total for everything. I am going to take care of the delivery arrangements to your address.

I will be responsible for the delivery arrangements so you have no problem having your puppy delivered to your location, your money is guaranteed if anything goes wrong, money refunded back 100%.

All we want is a good and caring forever home for the puppies.

So if you are willing and ready to offer Tom a better home, then let me know for more details on how Tom is going to be delivered to your house.

I fell victim to this scam but the scammer was using the website cute Wilson beagle puppies. I sent an email through the contact page on the website inquiring about the puppies. Later that night I received a text message and several pictures of the puppy I was interested in. I decided to purchase the puppy and everything seemed legit until a few days later when I was sent tracking information for the delivery of my puppy and the shipping company demanded money to insure the delivery. I contacted the breeder and he said he would look into it and sent a long text message apologizing about the mix up. When I later asked about delivery I never heard back.

I just went through the exact same experience basically the same time you did. It just seemed too good to be true and then things didn’t add up when it came time to make my deposit. I was going to use Zelle and he told me it was very important to not put a note on the transaction or it’d go pending and not transfer immediately. Then he pressured me to make the transaction very quickly. That was my the red flag and looks like I wasn’t the only one being scammed. So glad I trusted my gut and didn’t follow through with this.

My husband and I were looking for a pocket beagle puppy and found a little guy we fell in love with on the website healthybeaglepuppies.com. After over a week of emails and texts with Joseph Wilson we almost finalized the transaction. I went to ScamPulse.com to check on credentials and found a story that sounded exactly like ours; even the email stating he was a Christian man who didn't cheat people. We ceased contact prior to payment because of the other complaints on this same scammer. Thank you ScamPulse.com for your help in preventing another scam.
