I found a listing on craigslist for an amazing 4bd 3ba house at 9401 BERG DR LINCOLN, NE 68505. The price was listed at $1200 on the site. After emailing to receive more information the price went to $1400 with a $1000 security deposit. The rental owner claimed to be William Hammelmann and stating he and his family had to move to Wichita Kansas for a job promotion as branch manage of a part of a construction company. This was the url he provided in reference to the construction company "http:// ;lynchconstruction.net/". He stated to originally want to sell the house but his realtor had increased the sell price and it wouldn't sell so he changed his mind to rent instead. He had asked me to fill out a general application similar to most rental applications. My future roommates and I did some more digging before it went any further past the application. We found out the true owner is not William Hammelmann and contacted the true owner and the listing is on Zillow.com for $2295. The owner is aware of the scam. But do not give him any of your information!!!
