This is a person impersonating an actual person who belongs to this legitimate company. First they reach out on a different number saying you have been selected for a job interview (one would be led to believe so as many of us are seeking employment), then you are directed to use the app Telegram to conduct the interview, after which "Omar Smith" tells you to check at 8:30 AM "your time" tomorrow, sharp. After that you're offered a position and what it entails and he then asks for your private information like full legal name, number, address, etc. After that he sends you a check to cash on your bank app for "software you'll need for the job". Only $400 is available so he says "partial payment" for today. After this you send $400 to a "vendor" and he tells you to check back in tomorrow. Thank God I had a gut feeling albeit I had to freeze my bank account. This is a clear scam. When my family called the numbers, some African guy picked up. There people are PREYING on young people seeking meaningful employment.

Told me to download Telegram to discuss the job offer. It was a tect interview only. Said i got the job the next day. Emailed me super general forms and the wording was low-effort. No HR. Was very fishy.
