I placed an order through Wildman's Books' website for a book called, Joan Didion: What She Means by Hilton Als on Jan 31, 2023. I received no information about my order until Feb 10, when the store sent me an email to notify me that my order was delayed because it was on "special order" with the publisher and therefore wait times for receiving it would be extended. This book was only recently published and not back ordered on any other book sites I checked, so this notification was already suspect. I emailed Wildman's on March 13 to ask for an order status update, as it had already been nearly two months and I'd not received my order or any updates as to when it would be arriving. As of today, March 30, I've received no response from their customer service and no updates on my order despite them having charged me for it. I've already filed a claim with my bank to dispute the charge but I think it's important for people to be aware that this store is a complete scam (there are many comments to this effect on their Instagram page and on ScamPulse.com's own site).
