Scam alert!

I ordered a book as a gift in November 2021. They said it was a special order and I stupidly believed them because I had trouble finding the book in stock elsewhere. I was charged and constantly asked for updates which they were not able to give. Just claimed that it was a special order and would be delayed. Almost a year later, I remember that I never got the order so I asked sarcastically if I would ever receive it. They said the order is ready to ship the next day. By this time a year has passed and the recipient of this gift has already bought and read the book elsewhere but Wildman’s Books told me it was too late to cancel. When I received the book, I requested a return and refund and tel hey refused saying I didn’t cancel in time. There are many other reviews out there from people who never even received their order.

Purchased some books on the site in November. Didn’t hear back for a couple weeks so I reached out for a status update. Got told my order is in special order with the publisher and they’re working on it. Couple months go by and back and forth emails with the same message. I then ask for a refund around January. Keep getting told it’s being processed. All the while they take weeks and multiple emails/messages to reach back out. Until today I still haven’t gotten a refund and have begun messaging their Instagram account. I’ve been told there system can’t processed a credit refund so they have to mail a check back. I said ok please provide a tracking number which they then left me “seen” and ignored. On their Instagram account there’s multiple comments from other ppl with the same situation as me and I’ve talked to a few who are going through the same thing

As others have reported, this company quickly charged me for three books, including a surprisingly high shipping charge, and never sent the books. My emails to the customer service account generate automatic responses, but no person has answered. There is no phone number or other means of canceling an order on the website.
