IN April 2023, i contacted this scammer claiming to be a wholesaler offering products I wanted to sell on Amazon through my online business. I have all appropriate business licenses in Kansas to conduct business. He showed me paperwork from California, claiming to be in business since 2005. His banking was done through Evolve Bank and Trust App. My Banker at Meritrust looked at his information, because I was afraid to deposit money in his account, in case of fraud. He did not want to follow Amazon's policy for mailing labels, so this had me concerned. I called him 8 days in a row, asking him for proof he was a true business in Oklahoma. He assured me that he sells to 200 customers who buy up to $10,000 and $25,000 of inventory weekly. He had many products that I wanted to sell at good pricing and profit.He never produced any Oklahoma business license, but his California paperwork looked legitimate, even to my banker at Ameritrust. As sokn as I sent the payment, he stopped answering my calls and emails. It has been 10 days, and nothing.
