Tried to send eGiftcard to mother for Mother's Day in the amount of $100. After completing the transaction and money removed from bank account, the confirmation was not received as expected. Called the customer service number to find out the order status and was notified that the funds had been placed on hold for 'verification'. If the funds were in question (which they are not) then why remove them from the account instead of just declining the transaction? This practice appears both questionable and suspicious.
