Received a text message from Whole Foods with an offer to be their secret shopper. Then they sent me a letter and a check for $2,950 to cover "assignment bills" and my commission. For the first assignment, they asked that I buy Nike gift cards. I called Whole Foods who immediately told me the program was a scam and suggested I destroy the check and the letter.
