WHO Employment Reports & Reviews (1)

I recently received an email from someone apparently associated with my university (their email address used the university domain name, and it was sent to my university email address) about a part-time work-from-home job with WHO. Supposedly it involves ordering and arranging delivery of items to students/staff with disabilities at universities. They advertised it as $500/week and only a few hours of work per week.

The contact email provided was [email protected]. I googled the name and it seemed legitimate, so I reached out to this email with a question, but the response didn't really answer the question and was pretty generic. I asked another question which was at least answered, but after that they asked me to send a copy of my ID to move forward, and at that point I realized it was probably a scam, so I started researching it more. After googling the email address I was met with articles about these kinds of scams, which match very closely the job description I received.

After the ID request I stopped responding, so the only information I gave was my name and university.
