Whitson Delivery Service Reports & Reviews (4)

- Oxnard, CA, USA

1. Email first received from a supposedly authorized representative named Rochelle ([email protected]) stating my resume was found and that I had experience they were looking for.

2. Lorraine Martin from Whitson Delivery contacted me via email with a link to provide additional contact information.

3. Received a missed call from (910) 258-0609.

4. When I emailed Lorraine Martin ([email protected]) her email bounced back three times as 'undeliverable'

5. When I called (910) 258-0609 the recording DID NOT say anything about the business you were supposedly calling and the recording just stated' the person you are trying to reach is unavailable, please leave a message'.

6. Research showed this same 'LorraineMartin' email as a scam for 'Finley Delivery Service' on this link: https://www.bbb.org/article/news-releases/18078-bbb-warns-of-scammer-posing-as-d...

Basically they offered me pay as a shipping inspector. They would send me packages in someone else’s name ask me to open the parcel take out all of the original invoices and repack the parcel print out a prepaid shipping label and ship it off through Fedex UPS or USPS. In return I would get paid $20 per shipment. I shipped off three parcels and was paid through my PayPal then it stopped. Now I’m receiving letters from banks and PayPal for parcel that were shipped off . I went on the companies website and ask them why I was receiving this type of mail and I have not heard back from them.

One day after allowing job posters to view my resume on Indeed and LinkedIn, the job offers started coming in, the first by a bogus company, Whitson Delivery Service. www.whitsondeliveryservice.com. A woman then called me, identifying herself as Lorraine Martin. If you check other delivery service scams in the NC Triad, you'll find her name, but a different company name, although it's a delivery service too. She offers to pay you every week by PayPal. That's the scam, to gain access to your Paypal account. I checked with the ScamPulse.com and found that there's no such address or company. But I found a similar warning. Take heed, North Carolina job seekers. The first offers coming your way that sound far too easy, is likely because they're false.
