Exact same experience. The send fake puppy pics and then ask you pay $1100 for the puppy +&400 mandatory shipping. If you ask to pick up, they say ship only (even though one of their fake testimonials talks about picking up a puppy personally)
They will then insist on Venmo or Zelle for payment. (that way you can never get a refund)
Once payment is received they will send fake shipping documents from their fake shipper. Demanding a mandatory "refundable" $2500 insurance plan that you must once again pay for with Venmo, Zelle, or if you refuse those two- a wire transfer. It's just a secondary sucker punch to see if they can grab $2500 more before they never speak to you again.
Here is what they send you:
Dear Customer ,
The Insurance Department of our service wishes to bring to your
knowledge, that after the check up prior to delivery of your
American Eskimo puppy, we discovered that the Life Insurance fee
payable for this puppy is $2500 USD. With the Life
Insurance Coverage of your puppy, they can commercially and privately
travel through its life time through the U.S and out of U.S, with no
restrictions. See the attached
After the insurance fee is paid, the company in charge of the flight
and delivery of the animals, must provide a fully refundable receipt to
be signed by the customer, which will entitle the client to a full
refunds of the money paid for insurance.
The insurance fee paid by the client, must be fully refunded cash upon
delivery of the pets or any other method deemed suitable by the client,
but this should take a maximum of 24 hours.
If anything should happen to the pet during delivery after this
insurance fees have been paid for, the company shall be fully liable for
all expenses and extra compensation.
If anything should happen to the pets during delivery, the company shall
stand a chance of being taken legally to court by the customer in
question.
From the above rules and regulations, we came to a conclusion that the
delivery cannot proceed except the VPI Refundable Pet Travel Insurance fee
of $2500 USD is paid for. This money will be refunded to you when the puppy
is delivered .
We shall then issue a receipt which shall entitle you to $2500 along with
the delivery of your pet, This receipt is what you are keep a copy as
a record and authorization for you to collect your money back when the
puppies are delivered.
We hereby apologize if this has caused any minor complications, but
still remind you that everything we do, is to ensure the safety of your
pet. Plus your refunds await you upon delivery of your puppy at the airport.
Other families are also working on the VPI Pet Insurance payment,
who have their pets with us too.
Our services provided to your pet , has been feeding and extra care at
our Pet Reservation Center. This is absolutely under our own finances,
and will cost you nothing other than your puppies insurance.

If you refuse to pay via Zelle from that letter, they send you this next:
The dog needs the Insurance Fee.It is not optional.
You will have to get the Grade A $2500 or then Grade B $1500.
When they find out you won't use Venmo or Zelle:
You will make the payment though Bank wire.
Try to make the payment first thing in the morning.
Also know that if you pay the B grade Insurance it does not cover a crate and medications if anything should happen to the dog.
Email back tp get our wells Fargo information to do the bank wire transfer.

When you still refuse to pay, they try threating to take the puppy hostage:
You will get the Clean Bill of health first thing tomorrow morning.
You can make the payment through Zelle and receive your puppy tomorrow or can do bank wire into our account and that will take another 2-3 days.

Sam. Price – $1100 American Eskimo Dog Sex- Male Age – 10 Weeks Old. Size – Miniatures Full Height – 15 inches tall Full Weight – 20 pounds Lifespan: 12-14 years
We paid the $1100.00 plus a $400.00 delivery fee through an online payment system and then signed a transfer of ownership document. We received a photo after payment had been sent, however this photo was not of the puppy that we inquired about, but of another one pictured on the website.
Then we were contacted by the shipping company asking for $2500.00 more for Pet Insurance otherwise they would not continue with shipment. We were told this was a refundable fee upon delivery. Needless to say we were then convinced this was a scam.
We then forwarded this email to the person supposedly selling the puppy and she advised: A coverage fee is needed most times at the transit point. She did not divulge this information until we received the email from the Shipping Company:
