Got scammed too but oddly they did a ceased and assist with my mortgage and it all seemed so legit. Right at the end when it was supposedly all going to close never got the grant money til this day and the paperwork. Now worried on losing home. Want to be part of the lawsuit if anyone can figure how to get it started.

I WAS CONTACTED BY THIS COMPANY SEPTEMBER 19, 2022 AND TOLD HOW MUCH THEY WILL SAVE ME ON MY MORTGAGE, AND HOW THEY WOULD DEFEND ME AGAINST THE MORTGAGE COMPANY. THEY ALSO TOLD ME THEY WOULD FILE A FEDERAL COMPLAINT AGAINST THE MORTGAGE COMPANY WHICH WOULD GET ME A SETTLEMENT. SOUNDED TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE BUT SINCE I WAS NOT PAYING OUT ANYMONEY AI ALLOWED THEM TO MOVE FORWARD. THEY HAD ME FILL OUT AND DOCUSIGN A FORM, IN THAT FORM IT MADE REFERENCE TO MAKING PAYMENTS TO WESTWOOD ADVOCATES. WHEN I QUESTIONED THEM ABOUT THAT PART OF THE FORM THEY TOLD ME THAT I DID NOT HAVE TO MAKE ANY PAYMENTS TO THEM UNTIL MY MORTGAGE COMPANY WAS SERVED WITH DOCUMENTS ADVISING THEM THAT WESTWOOD WILL BE MY REPRESENTATIVE.

IT HAS BEEN 2 WEEKS AND I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM THEM, NOR HAVE THEY ANSWERED ANY CALLS OR EMAILS.

I'm going to lose everything

I was contacted by the company under the pretense that it was going to save me from my terrible mortgage. I sent payment and now I can't get into contact with the company at all. I don't know what to do. Has anyone else been affected by this?

Company contacted me offering to modify my mortgage and had me sign a bunch of documents. Sounded so legit. When I went to see them the payment my bank stopped it and flagged it. When I contacted my mortgage company they informed me that they had not heard anything from this company saying that they were working with me and that I was being scammed. I then tried to reach them and none of the numbers picked up and when the guy David finally spoke with me after he realized I didn’t make the payment he kept giving me the run around and saying that my bank was not being honest. I told him as soon as he could send me proof that what he was telling me was actually true and that they were working with my investor to modify my loan then I would send him a payment. I have yet to hear back from him.

They are very convincing and it’s disgusting that they are feeding off of the grief that people are dealing with that have actually lost a loved one and gone through a hardship due to the pandemic. Shame on them.
