I was contacted by phone about a debt that the collection agency was prepared to go to court over. I was told I was to be served papers that never showed and was told they marked me as a noncompliance. After they contacted me for the third time they sent documents threw docuSign.com one was an agreement we discussed to settle the debt the other was for my credit card information. The documents did not look professional and also misspelled my name several times in the document. I started to call the company who owned my debt in an effort to verify this westland legal support company was not scamming me. While waiting for a return call from the debt agency I received another call from westland legal support a person by the name of Norm. I explained to him I was waiting on a response to make sure I was not being scammed he then became very argumentative with me said I was not worth the headache and Goodluck in court then hanging up. After calling back to speak to a supervisor he yelled at me stating if I called back he was going to contact the local sheriff's department for harassment. He then deleted the original agreement from docusign.com that still had two months before the deadline. I was also accused by them to be committing fraud and being a scamer. If this is a real company and not a scam they should be ashamed of how they mistreated and talk to people. I've also respectfuly requested on multiple occasions for them to send me copies of contracts and documentation to confirm the validity of the their claims they said they would send them after I sign the agreement to pay and send them my credit card info.
