Call said there was active on card that doesn't exist.

- Edison, NJ, USA

Stated that they were calling from wells fargo and had a cashiers check

I was texted that my Wells Fargo account was being used w/o my permission and purchases were made. Then asked to confirm if I was making the purchases. I texted NO and immediately received a call from someone claiming to be from Wells Fargo. I was coerced to go into Zelle to transfer and set up myself as a recipient to cover the money used. I transferred $1000 to “myself” through Zelle and then realized I was being scammed. Initially they wanted me to transfer $2500 in total. I am sick over this and that I was actually scammed to do this. I reported to the bank as fraud and was instructed by them, legitimately, to get the texts off my phone and send their fraud department screen grabs. I was not asked for any account or SS info which made me think it was legitimate I’m the first place. I am now out $1000 for now and hopefully I hear back from bank soon but am not hopeful since the transaction was made through Zelle

they promised me apersonal loan for 2000 $ thru ach deposit then rescinded the offer and wanted me to purchase a vanilla visa prepaid card at wallmart, walgreens or cvs. Then asked me to send pics of front and back of card, which they used fraudulently the next day charged the entire balance on my card to SHARP TECHNOLOGIES. this was not what I agreed to. there was no fees to originate my loan which I never received the loan officer claimed my bank would not allow out of state ach transactions which was untrue. then the loan officer wanted me to use google pay for 2 secured transactions costing $200 each at this point I was being pressured to spend more money to receive a loan I no longer complied with their request and was scammed out of my prepaid deposit on my vanilla visa prepaid card of $50 . This was a lesson learned beware of text messages offering loans with no credit checks and especially if the keep calling to pursuit the offers after I said i was no onger interested. $50 is a big lost for me I'm disabled and on a fixed income. beware there are all kinds of scams out there. if /i need cash in the future //i will use a conventional means.
