Said they were checking to verify that I had applied for a Wells Fargo credit card and the person used a Pennsylvania as the state and they were checking to see if I had applied. Then I was giving a case number El1561154 transferred to another and the person said they were with Experience credit service and the wanted to check to see if anyone tried open another card at another bank. I question the reason to the procedure and they said ok and hung up. I never gave my address or SSN.

I was sent an email saying my card was suspended for irregular activity. I don't have an account at Wells Fargo so i knew it was a scam. I never had any problems with scams until brightspeed took over for CenturyLink. I was recently ask to purchase hacking insurance from brightspeed in which i believe they have something to do with the uptick with scams im receiving lately.
