I applied for a 24 hour subscription to the Wellhello dating service for $1 and was immediately charged illegitimately another $42 for a monthly subscription. Then the girl I arranged to date pulled a steamer card scam on me for another $50. She tried to get more but I had experience with steamer card scams in the past and cut her off. What was especially discusting was she said the money was for her two kids. She was what this company uses as fake dates that are really "love hostesses" used to get you to fork over money and then never date you. She has two kids like I have fifteen toes. Utter BS. She used a fake name too. And provided contact info that would insulate her from being tracked.

Read the other reviews by users and magazines, especially the LA Times, and don't go anywhere near WellHello. It's a scam beginning to end and should be put out of service.
