Booked a flight online 2 people $1188. Never received ticket or QR code. Called number given and was told the ticket I purchased had 3 restrictions 1. no cancel, this was in disclaimer, 2. no changing of names, in disclaimer, 3. Absolutely no luggage, carry-on or medical equipment. This was NOT in disclaimer. I told him that can't be, my husband has insulin and medical equipment that he has to take. He said he could get me a ticket with baggage included for $3100 for same flights. I said no, 3 x more, could have a different ticket with 22 hour layovers for $2562, if I did not take one of these tickets I could not cancel the other and would lose the $1188 I paid. Sent to a supervisor, ticket leaving day early for $2298. I wanted to talk to my husband, I was bullied, harassed, told I would lose our money. Placed on hold. Called American Airlines to ask if this ticket would not allow baggage or medical equipment and was told that would be against their policy. If we had a ticket we COULD bring on carry-ons, medical equipment and baggage. Fareporto called back and when I said I wanted the original ticket they told me I could not have it that I could only have the ticket coming home a day early at that point. I wanted to original ticket but was feeling sick from all the bullying. Put on hold for a supervisor again so we called American Airlines again to clarify if we had ever received a ticket. They said 1 was put in que but never issued. The cost of the ticket was way less than what Fareporto wanted to charge me. We also got a text from Capital One saying that they had denied a request for a payment from a company called TravelEZ LLC. Then a 2nd request came asking for $1578.20. . This was also denied. They have continued to call me and try to hassle me. i was advised not to talk to them again by Capital One. I have written a more detailed letter to Capital One explaining what happened. This was very scary.
