I placed one-time orders with Uptime Energy for their Original Energy Tablets two or three times. The last time was in August 2022. They kept my credit card on file and put me down for a recurring order every three months, without my knowledge and without my authorization. When it happened the first time, in November 2022, I sent an email and at least one voicemail (since you can never reach their customer service people by phone) and let them know I had not placed or authorized that order and to cancel it and refund the money. They didn’t, so I received the shipment and let them know again that they were not allowed to do that again. They emailed me again a few days ago (Tuesday February 6, 2023) saying my next order would be shipped in 3 days, and I again sent an email and a voicemail saying don’t send it, cancel the order because I never placed it, ditch my credit card number, take me off the recurring purchase thing immediately. They ignored me even though I attempted to contact them every day by phone since Tuesday. I got the email this morning saying thank you for your purchase, etc. I fired off an angry email saying, again, that the recurring purchase, including this one, was not wanted, needed, or ordered and that I was going to report them for consumer fraud. They refunded me and said I would no longer be set up for automatic recurring purchases. No apology. So because they ignored me not once but twice, and I doubt that I’m the only customer of theirs who has had this happen, I feel I still need to report them.
