I'm 82 years old. I got a virus alert on my computer telling me to call 866-476-1467. I called, the man I spoke to had a heavy accent. He said my computer is fine, but we're working on the network.I gave him remote control of my computer. I can see it's running some kind of program. He wants $4000.00.

Pop up saying my computer has been locked and has a virus and to call the number on the screen . I believe them at first after talking about a hour I consent to pay for service but had a feeling something was wrong but this was after I gave them my banking info
