I applied for a remote job position through a chat system on a job app. After getting the position I was sent paper work to fill out for employment approved. I did, and the scammer I started talking started talking through Google chat workplace. Everything sames legit until he told me that he's going to send me an e-check to my email, so I can capture it in my mobile bank for direct deposit. He told me that I should do what is required because that's the check that is going to over for the equipment they going to send me. Which caused $9,000.

This is what he stated in the chat " Okay, For the equipment's to be acquired, the company will be sending you your start-up check from the company Bank/Financier for you to deposit so you can acquire the equipment's. The funds are coming through you because you will get your legal signup bonus of $200 and also for you to make the payment directly to the vendor to assist you make future purchases of any IT equipment or software that is required as a result of an upgrade or replacement due to damage"

And I knew was a scam and I didn't continue the job offer.
