I was contacted by a burner account on instagram (with what appeared to be a randomly-generated gibberish username), and asked to contact the instagram account @wearethewrld to inquire about being a "brand ambassador". Skeptical, I contacted the page and attempted to garner some information. They frequently dodged my questions about the details of this relationship and hid behind an overly cheerful and friendly demeanor, using smiley faces and plant emojis as they went on tangents about protecting the earth. They then mentioned their catalogue of products and asked me to "pick my favorite". In the end, I was upfront about it and directly asked them "am I expected to purchase one of your products?" As expected, they dodged the question but offered me "a discount on my whole order for me and anyone I share the code with", indirectly answering my question and confirming my suspicions.

This page is targeting individuals on Instagram using bot accounts to contact people, then scamming them out of money by asking them to purchase "discounted products" to "promote their brand". The irony is that they call it "hiring" you, when in fact, they're simply taking YOUR money as you advertise for them for free.

The address listed above is listed as the return address on the website, and the email address is taken from the "contact us" page.

This is an organization on Facebook. It's called 'We Are The World'. its main target is people who are willing to donate to help the environment. I requested to become an ambassador, so they reached out to me. I asked them questions such as how do they help, individually, rather than as a business- they replied by sending me a 30% 'discount' and a link to their website. I asked them what they are doing to help the organizations- they replied with the same thing except they added about sharing it on social media and tagging them so they become known to the general public. I asked them for proof of donations to organizations- they replied, once again, with me buying something from them. I asked them to show proof of business, donations, and legitimate actions for the charities- they replied with the same thing. I asked them to show proof or I will report them to the better business bureau- this time they had no response. They do not provide an address of the business, an email, a phone number, postal code, etc. This is when I knew it was a scam.
