Scammer had sent a flyer coupons to my address it was for a free Diagnostics and a free second examination opinion for an automobile services. It was on 4-9-24 at 10:00 am. They were really busy that day and we had to have wrecker tow it to their shop because it was not running correctly. In the flyer coupons they advertise they fix any Ford vehicles I didn't know they were being specific about a certain year to determine when we brought the vehicle over. It was for a Ford F-150 V8 Triton XLT 4.6, the wrecker had the vehicle and couldn't take it back to my prior location because of policy restrictions which is perfectly understandable. They decided to have a change of mind and said they could inspect the vehicle which had other vehicles ahead of me but offered me to wait if I wanted but I had to go to work urgently. Then I go a day later 4-10-24 to check on vehicle to see if they inspected it and they still haven't gotten around to it, due they had a big project so I had to wait another day! They call me the next day 4-11-24 at 4:09pm and said they charge $157 but I said what about the free coupons they sent and they said maybe. But it would take another day for full examination, then I said ok as long you figure out what is wrong with the vehicle. Then on 4-12-24 at 4:34pm they call me at work saying the full examination with Diagnostics would be $780. I said what about the free coupons towards the diagnostic check and second opinion examination, they said they could possibly waive it if I had the full complete repair services done? They wanted an answer and I said I would have to talk to them and think about it. So on 4-13-24 at 8:40 am I went with my family to check on the vehicle and had a change of heart I suspected that they would probably charge me more money for holding it there. Which I asked if they could give me a estimate for all the services and parts needed to be done on the vehicle the quote ended being $4,574.61. I told them honestly and directly that didn't have the money for this type of services at moment and needed them to release the vehicle back to me. I offered to pay any additional time the vehicle was there for? They said if wanted my vehicle back I had to pay the full $780 and we debated about the price and seem they overcharged me way over the Diagnostics and examination check up price. Which originally the price should of been $ 195 total for having it there and full examination, but I wondered why they even sent me the coupons in the first place for free Diagnostics and second opinion examination. This high way robbery, false advertisment and overcharging unjustifiably for little to no work or check to be done on a quote for a vehicle that should have been examined 3 days ago, right after it was left! This a scam and false advertising I could of lost my truck to them if I didn't pay them $587.17 for to release it! Please do something to see this never happens again to other people who want good service to be done on their vehicles without having to be scammed and overcharged. It seems they have done this before to other people due to we had to look on there Google reviews, from others prior experience we had with the same shop! No one should be a victim or fall prey to false advertising when that business does not honor the flyer coupons they sent out to people's address! Thank You and GOD BLESS!
