After some pleasantries, I was asked if I had gotten my money yet. She had gotten an envelope from FedEx with a promise of money and a form to sign. My name was on the form in 2 places so she wanted to know if I got my money. I replied that she should not sign anything and that it was likely a scam. The reply was that it was too late and that she already had $60,000 in cash and a friend got $100,000. If I wanted to verify, I could text 702-805-3495 to check. I called the number and did not reach the WCAB but received a message saying that it was a text only phone number. I called my aunt to make sure she wouldn't sign anything. Of course she knew nothing about it and had never used Messenger. Her daughter also got a message via Messenger from her mom and it lookded to be legitimate. She thought it was a scam too.
I received another message via Messenger at 11:59AM on Wednesday asking if I had contacted the agent yet and also at 9:51PM. I did not respond.
